Photo Shoot with Lady and Red
/I often forget how important it is to me to have photos like these and my purpose for this shoot was only to update my main blog photo. If you remember it was a computer screen selfie of Rowan and I when she was a smiling baby and behaved like an angel. 👼 Haha! I mean the stress of a photo shoot is overwhelming in itself, right? The clothes, planning, matching, backgrounds, behaviors and of course if it is a good or bad hair day. I know you can relate! But after seeing these photos, my heart skipped a beat, and a lot of emotions surfaced because I actually had to see how big my little girl is getting and how grown up she looks. Her personality is shining through more each day and I am praying I am doing the best I can in raising her. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, and I am very thankful for talented people to capture these moments for me!
When I tell you I love you, I don't say it out of habit or to make conversation. I say it to remind you that YOU ARE the best thing that ever happened to me - Unknown
This photo is a very first photo we took in this spot and you can clearly tell she was not interested in having her photo taken at that moment in total three-nager fashion.
A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take - Cardinal Mermillod
She actually had the dandelion in her mouth but you can not see it here, but this was walking to the car and he was still capturing moments like this!
After picking up all of Cullen's confetti on the studio floor and putting it in my purse, she then was ready for her picture. She then said "chuckie cheese" 😂 for every photo!
She found the dandelions, like she always does. I actually told her not to pick it until we were done with photos but then a full on fit started so of course I caved. You do what ya gotta do sometimes, well most of the time! ☺️
Here is the actual photo before we were in full on laughter. I am so glad I have this image because this is her personality! She loves flowers, loves to pick them and of course she likes to act goofy and get people to laugh. Her spirit is so infectious.
At the end of the shoot, well as you can tell, she has lost the shoes and is running around like a wild woman. I was supposed to be getting head shots but someone wanted to steal the show, and she sure did.
And here is an exhausted Mom who is writing this and feeling so blessed to have this life. I am grateful for these photos as I will be able to re-live this for many many years to come. Cheers friends and cherish these moments.
