Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

‘Tis the season for stuffing the turkey and our faces! I mean for every soul who tries to diet during the Holidays…..teach me your ways. The cookies, pies, and rolls OH MY!

I have linked my favorite outfits perfect for your Thanksgiving holiday! Our tradition is usually me cooking the turkey and dinner while grandma brings the pies (apple & pumpkin) and my mom comes over early to help manage the mashed potatoes (her specialty). 1.) Fun leggings and an oversized sweater! Easy, comfy and still chic. This look linked HERE

2.) Style a sweater with denim (avoid too many rips or grandma will start patching them) 😂 This look linked HERE

3.) Comfy and casual. Some of you probably show up in your jammies but this look is the next best thing! I linked this outfit HERE

4.) Look ma, no pants! Haha I love to wear dresses, especially oversized sweater ones! I paired it with boots but you could easily add sneakers! This outfit is linked HERE

5.) Some of you may eat later or get a bit fancier than some. I would suggest a fun skirt with a sweater and classic sandals/shoes. Like these pieces HERE

6.) This is me. Probably what I will be wearing and drinking 😂 Chef’s juice. Fun cami with a cardi over it because when I am cooking I get hot and you can easily hide how much food you have tasted before it was ready! This outfit linked HERE

7.) Same look as above but just pairing it with faux leather leggings! They are dressier than the cotton legging therefore you look like you put more effort into your effortless look! Comfy and cool. Shop HERE

Keto-Friendly Cheeseburger Soup

Soup season is here! And so is the season where I try to throw random things in a pot to re-create my favorite indulgences and make them healthy. Haha. Haven’t you seen the meme that says “If cauliflower can become pizza, you my dear can be anything?” 😂

I am not a nutritionist and this is probably not 100% keto but it is definitely a lighter version than the regular cheeseburger soup! Let me know what you think and if you make any changes to it!! XO

RECIPE:

32 oz beef broth

1 lb ground beef-browned and drained

1/2 package of bacon, cooked and chopped

7-10 mini dill pickles-chopped (can use any pickle, use as desired)

1/2 can petite diced tomatoes

1 small head of cauliflower, cooked and chopped into bit size pieces

1 small yellow onion, sautéed

3/4 block cream cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup milk (can omit and just add broth from soup)

1 Tbsp minced garlic

salt and pepper to taste

4 Tbsp butter

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Brown beef in a soup pot, drain excess grease. Sauté onion with beef until soft and add in minced garlic and 2 tbs butter.

2.) Cut up cauliflower and boil until fork tender. Drain and add to beef mixture. Add in beef broth.

3.) Add in tomatoes. 1/2 of your cooked and chopped bacon. (If you want crispy bacon, add it to the top of your soup when you serve it.) Or forget about it in the microwave and find in a few days later. Hahaha

4.) Make your cheese sauce by adding cream cheese, butter, shredded cheese and thin with milk or use beef broth from your soup pot. Once it is all melted together, slowly whisk it into your soup until blended. Salt and pepper to taste.

5.) Simmer until warm and serve!

How to Style Faux Leather Leggings

Not gonna lie, these are my favorite pants. Why? Because they are “fancier” than just cotton leggings, but just as comfy. I have paired them with just about everything and it all works! It is easy to find an affordable option but if you want the suck me in pair, they will cost you about $90. But they last forever!

If you are not comfortable stepping outside of the box and wearing a faux leather, I have linked an affordable pair for you and I want you to just try it! Fashion is fun remember??

1.) I love a good chambray top and its long enough to cover the bum so I paired it with these leggings. Because it is getting colder, adding a cardigan tops off the look.

2.) It’s not a secret I love shoes….and bags and jeans and…..😂 Any sweater pairs well with these leggings as long as it covers the booty. If you are under 25, you can probably let the booty be seen.

3.) OTK boots are an easy way to wear these leggings. They cover almost all of them! Easy, chic look.

4.) I have progressed from leggings to pants because I love them so much. Note the booties….they are on repeat alllll the time. I will link them below because I found them from last year and they are a great investment.

5.) Sweater, boots and of course leggings! Just add a sweater with a bit of a print!

6.) Travel style. I paired them with flip flops and a workout tee for my flight. Easy to add layers and I am that girl who brings socks on the plane because my feet always freeze!

7.) Basic tee and a pop of color. If I know I am going to be wearing my coat for most of the event, I will pair it with something more fun like a graphic tee. A blazer would be a great pop of color or pattern too.

8.) Add a work wear faux wrap blouse. If you work in an office this is an easy outfit to wear. You may get a few looks but if your bits are covered, I don’t see the problem.
